Welcome to my website. I am a professional freelance cellist and teacher. I studied cello at the University of Ottawa, receiving my Bachelor's and Master's in Music. I also attended the University of London Goldsmiths' College in London, England, where I received a Diploma in Orchestral Studies. My principal teachers were Donald Whitton, Rosalind Sartori, Alexander Baillie and Margaret Munro Tobolowska. I am a member of the Etobicoke-Mississauga branch of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association. I was in the Canadian Forces for 18 years as the solo cellist in the Canadian Forces String Ensemble. I retired in May 2000. My family and I moved from Ottawa to Mississauga in early 2004. I am principal cellist of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and am looking forward to more playing and teaching opportunities.
